Research Assistant – Spatial Data Analysis

Financial support: Assistants will receive $14.00 per hour for up to 10 hours per week for the

duration of the project.

Application requirements: Résumé or curriculum vitae (CV) and brief cover letter.

Qualifications: Experience with Python computer language, or ArcPy and ArcGIS software, and

ability to work with both raster and vector data.

Responsibilities: The responsibilities of the research assistants include cleaning up existing and

developing new Python code for a project to spatially allocate population and infrastructure for

global urbanization projections and energy consumption analysis.
